I shouldn’t have sold my viola… Should never have done it. I ended up giving away the guitar I bought with the money, too. How can I let music seep away from me like this? How can I not be singing? Playing? Teaching my daughter to sing and play? Time is the main culprit. Time and money (having either can get you some of the other).
I thought that, somehow, putting on some classics this morning would perk me up, but I was wrong. Time to tune back in to “Alley Cat”.

i pulled out my guitar for the first time in too long the other day. i’m about as good as i ever was. which is to say, not very. :)
i’ve never been motivated enough to commit to a class or to push myself above the plateu i’ve occupied for a couple of years. hm. it’s a shame … i think making music with others would be *way* cool.
though i may be working with someone soon on an album project (as a mixer/producer type … not a performer). which would be fun. and the guitarist will double as a bassist, so they need a bassist for practice. heheh. i’ve played bass once in my life, in a tracking session by myself. but i think bassists are like snowboarders: there’s something inherently sexy about them.
er, anyway.
violists are cool, too. their tireless assault against the prima donna violinists is always amusing. *grin*
I would not even flinch if you wanted the gituar back. say the word, and on my next trip down it is yours again :)
Adam, you poop. I didn’t even hope for that or mean that or anything. You play better than I do anyway. :)
You could always take up playing the skin-flute like I have :)
