… yet there is method.

Indeed

Jim Is the winner of two “Indeed!” awards. The first one is for the best pc holiday greeting I have heard all season:

Happy and festive denominational and nondenominational exuberence and a merry new year to everyone out there. Be nice to each other.

Indeed!

The second is for his post on powerlessness. I can think of nothing more maddening than the inability to effect change where it is needed. And, even more maddening than being powerless to help oneself is being powerless to help someone dear to one. I have spent a good part of the last half of this year feeling pretty powerless, but like you I know that time (and patience on the part of others) will prevail. Funny, though, how wonderful powerlessness can feel — to the body, mind, heart and soul — when it is entered into willingly… Indeed to this post as well.

Anyway, I envy greatly anyone who has the ability to have a morning coffee ritual with a parent. I miss my mom. Merry Christmas, mom. Thanks for the posts, Jim. See you around sometime?

P.S. Check out Bush in 30 Seconds if you are in the mood to think. Indeed.
